Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your account and all data (queue, history, ratings, shared-list memberships) from our servers. You can also email us and we'll delete it for you.

I didn't get my confirmation email

Check your spam folder for a message from confirm.watchstack.dtimestwo.com. If it's not there after a few minutes, try signing up again or email us and we'll confirm the account manually.

How do shared lists work?

On the Queue tab, tap + Shared list to create one — you'll get an 8-character invite code. Anyone you give the code to can join the list, and everyone sees changes in real time.

How do I import my existing watchlist?

Settings → Import accepts a CSV export (for example the export from your IMDb watchlist or ratings pages). Titles are matched exactly by ID, and anything we can't match is listed so nothing disappears silently.

A streaming service is missing or wrong for a title

Availability comes from JustWatch via TMDB and can lag a few days behind catalog changes. Make sure the service is selected in Settings → My streaming services; if it still looks wrong, email us the title and we'll look into it.

Is WatchStack really free?

Yes — completely free, no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
